snow day round five-hundred

SOO I believe this is now the third snow day in a week… so that's just PEACHY. It's actually not even snow, it's a freezing rain day! Hooray… NAWT. Our driveway is legit a skating rink… but we also don't have skates so THAT'S not even a possibility. In the past 24 hours I have finished watching Season 3 of Homeland… baked brownies… made hot chocolate… and blogged. This is what happens when you live in the middle of no where… but ANYWHO moving on…

        Last week I discovered some new things… 1. being I'm really FREAKEN good at shuffleboard, who KNEW. Do they have shuffleboard leagues??? Is that a thing??? Ima google dat meow and 2. I went to the new Forever 21 store that just opened in Halifax at Mic Mac Mall. HOLY LIPTON THAT STORE IS HUGE! It's only one level but soooo deeeeepppp…. definitely one of the bigger Forever 21 stores I've ever been too. Pretty sure I tried on every article of clothing available for sale within the two hour time span I was there. The store was also going with this Rihanna-bad-chick-theme that I wasn't really diggin' but MAN I was scavenging and found some real good pieces! HALLELUJAH FOREVER 21 IS NOW IN HALIFAX. Throw Urban Outfitters in there and the city is on FIRE

Going through a serious glitter-wrapping-paper-glitter-everything-for-Christmas-phase . EXCEPT I'm livid because I went on a serious hunt for gold glittery wrapping paper… found it… and COULDN'T USE IT TO ACTUALLY WRAP PRESENTS! The tape wouldn't adhere to the paper when wrapping gifts…. SOS! Does anyone have any tricks or is that paper just useless? help a sista out

Hot chocolate… come to MAMMA. I've FINALLY done the caffeine to tea switch (go rachel go) but now I'm uber-obsessed with hot chocolate! Not gooood for ma hipppssss though

It hurts my heart that the nearest Starbucks is two hours away. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE. OH, also tried the lemon poppyseed loaf at Starbucks and my world changed… TRY IT.
