HOLY HANNAH, THINGS ARE HAPPENING. Here's a quick synopsis: starting tomorrow, I am in the city of Halifax with a new apartment and a new job. WEOOO! Also to mention, I am getting a new computer tomorrow... you have no idea how badly this needs to happen. My current laptop (god love her)... she's 5 years old, has a battery life of 15 minutes and I'm pretty sure she weighs at least 20 pounds. HAHA last week when I flew home from Toronto, the security guy looked at me and picked up my computer and was like "wow, this is ancient hey?" while lifting it up and down. LIKE CMON. WE GET IT. My computer SUCKS. Anywho so I'm getting a Macbook Air and I'm legit crying about the thought of not having to charge it every five seconds *relief* 

      Pointed out by my lovely, intelligent and sassy younger cousin Haley... my blog title without spaces is rachetts... which apparently translates into "ratchet". She told me this fact on the weekend and apparently that's a word kids use these days? So it's evident that being 23 is old so I moseyed on over to urban dictionary and here it is: 

Ratchet: "noun" 

---> A diva, mostly from urban cities and ghettos, that has reason to believe she is every mans eye candy. Typical signs to beware of include, but are not limited to: 

-BLARES anything by Drake, 2Chainz etc. #guilty 
-wears torn leggings/stalkings, unpolished 8" heels,  fitted jean jackets and 4 layers of make-up to go clubbing #ummmno 

-  stupid; a safe assumption to make would be saying they're uneducated #lol

THIS IS WHAT KIDS TALK ABOUT THESE DAYS? I don't even get it. like HEH. WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD. Conclusion: although "rachetts" and "ratchet" sound the same, they are not spelt the same, and also do not have any similarities. MOVING ON 

This is what my life has been about today. Serious NAPS. I love naps. and Netflix. I love Friday Night Lights on Netflix- it took me four months but I finally finished the series last week.. sweet lord I bawled like crazy in the final episode. I was SOO INVESTED. One critique: If Lyla had come back from college and got back together with Tim Riggins... that would have been perfection. Just Saying. 

Hehe. This is cute. omg I'm such a suck. #longdistanceproblems 

Ok now time for Rachel's Raves !!!! In lieu of my bday (kinda pretending it never happened, 23 scares me)... here are some things I'm realllyyyyyy digging for spring. 

A kimono. I just bought one from Urban Outfitters online and I'm OBSESSED WITH IT. They are light, summery, comfy and perfect to layer over a tank with shorts, leggings, pants- dressed up or down for work or going out! Mine is floral and super bright for spring.     .l.o.v.e. 

Bright, thick, statement necklaces! Ok so Aldo has killllllled it for spring- I have probably every necklace available this season from there. Super bright colours, thick and perfect to pair with a top or dress! The one above I just bought from Aldo and absolutely love it- H&M has cute necklaces too anddddd Anthropologie.... I could go on and on....
